GET STARTED
STEP 1 – LINKING OUR GOOGLE ADS ACCOUNTS
You already submitted your Google Ads account number to us while going through the onboarding portal
By now, we have sent over a link request to link your account to our Google Ads Manager Account
The reason we do this is so that we can manage your Ad account without needing your Google login
Follow the instructions and screenshot below to link our accounts

To accept our link request in Google Ads, click on Admin and then Access and Security
(If your screen doesn’t look like the screenshot above, click Tools and Settings and then Access and Security)
Then click Managers and you will see the request (as shown above) – Click Accept
After you accept the link request, our accounts are linked – hooray!
STEP 2 – GOOGLE ADS ADVERTISER VERIFICATION
Google requires that all advertisers verify themselves to continue advertising without restrictions
Luckily, this is very easy to complete
When on the Google Ads home page, click Billing on the left side bar
(If you don’t see a left side bar, click Tools and Settings at the top and then go to Billing from there)
Under the billing dropdown, you will see “Advertiser Verification”
(If you don’t see this, that’s because your payment profile is not completely set up – complete that now)
Begin the Advertiser Verification and answer as follows:
I am not an advertising agency
I pay for my ads
I advertise my products or services
Industry: Real Estate or Real Estate Listings
You’re done with page 1, move on to the next
After you complete the first page, the second page is where you prove that you are the advertiser
Enter your name, address & whatever else it asks for
Submit a photo of your license, passport, etc.
After submitting this page, it may instantly approve you or it may take a few days
STEP 3 – ADDING AN EMAIL TO FOLLOW UP BOSS
You need to connect an email to Follow Up Boss
(You already have a login email set up, but you want to connect another email to send emails from inside the CRM)
The purpose of connecting another email is so that all nurture & drip emails send from a second email
This way your main email is not overloaded with responses from leads that are not hot yet
We want this connected email to look professional – we normally use concierge@yourdomain.com
Follow along below to create this new email
Creating this email
Click HERE to go to your Google workspace admin
(If using Microsoft 365, the idea is the same)
When on the home page you will see a “Users” box
(Screenshot on the right)
Click “Add a user”
Use your first & last name
**Primary email: “Concierge”**
For secondary email, enter your main email
Upload a profile photo that you use on main email
Create account
If you don’t have a google workspace, you’ll need to create one to complete this (or use Microsoft 365)
To create one, click HERE (Choose Business Standard Plan)


Connecting this email to Follow Up Boss
Now click HERE to go to follow up boss
From the homepage, click your profile at the very top right
From the dropdown, click “My Settings”
In the middle of the page you’ll see “Connected Email”
Connect this new concierge email there & you’re good to go!
STEP 4 – ADDING US TO YOUR REAL GEEKS ACCOUNT
Click HERE to go to the Real Geeks home page & sign in
On the top menu bar you’ll see a notification bell and to the left of that, a 9 dot square icon
Click on that 9 dot icon and a dropdown will appear – Click “Accounts” from the dropdown
You’ll see an orange button saying “Edit/Add Users” – click that & then click the “Add User” button
Create an account for us using the email: thomas@baltaymedia.com
(Make sure we have admin permissions so that we have access to the lead manager)
